EnFlex Continues to Make Legacy Systems Shine
EnFlex continues to provide the industry with universal, simple-to-use connectivity to the industry’s many building control and monitoring systems. As most industry participants are aware, the majority of existing commercial facilities are served by legacy systems such as Novar, Johnson Controls, Trane, etc. that wrap themselves in proprietary communication protocols. Enterprise facility operators and controls contractors are faced with the choice of either learning to proficiently work with many different systems, or unnecessarily restricting the number of facilities that can be effectively supported. Open protocols such as BACnet and LonWorks, provide a good option for new sites, but are expensive retrofit options.
Our goal at EnFlex is to provide a simple modernization option for legacy systems that is easy to implement yet flexible for those who want to work “outside the box or who want to keep their options open for employing future technologies. Companies can continue to extract value from their old systems while implementing new control hardware and software into a common environment. EnFlex will make you and your old equipment shine.
