Summer 2005 : Newsletter
Execution is Paramount
When things get busy it’s easy not to do things that seem relatively unimportant. You haven’t seen our newsletter lately because we got busy and figured that we could skip an issue or two. Our customers corrected us and we are back on track with this issue. Thanks to all of you that said that you do read these newsletters. We are listening!
EnFlex has delivered 100’s of integration projects in the last year, both directly and indirectly through our system integrator customers. Our customers and business partners continue to work with us to develop innovative applications and robust infrastructures to support customer information requirements extending the reach of EnFlex products. The extension of legacy building control systems and new facility information requirements will continue to drive the innovation and cost competitive integration capabilities at EnFlex.
EnFlex has delivered a number of critical driver enhancements to many of our customers during the past months to improve driver performance, capabilities, and ease of installation. Most of these enhancements covered applications we never imagined but were important to our customers. We want our customers to continue to be our severest critics in addition to being our strategic business partners.
The upcoming few months will be a time of tremendous growth at EnFlex. We will be deploying hundreds of site control servers in support of new roll outs for customers and will discuss some of the more innovative projects in future newsletters.
The EnFlex environment has some new tools for troubleshooting and display – which is the topic for this newsletter. We urge you to try them out and we look forward to your feedback and suggestions.

EnFlex Viewer
The EnFlex Viewer was created to allow the user to easily view EnFlex System Object (ESO) properties. EnFlex Viewer allows the user to easily connect to an EnFlex Control Server and browse ESOs and their associated properties without having EnFlex Site Manager resident on the PC. The user can also test EnFlex Connect commands and public procedures with the Viewer. The user can construct an EnFlex Connect command and immediately see the results. This is quick, efficient, and easy to use tool that is free to EnFlex users.
EnFlex WebTable
The EnFlex WebTable tool allows EnFlex users to easily display live data on custom web pages. The WebTable tool displays EnFlex System Object properties in a tabular format and can be effectively used with menus and simple graphic displays. Tables can also be set up to write data the EnFlex Control Server or can be configured to generate an alarm on any condition in the user’s application.
